"If the environment permits it, anyone can learn whatever he chooses to learn, and if the individual permits it, the environment will teach him everything it has to teach."

2012

Previously, the GroupMind Foundation sponsored the Denver Improv Festival, provided scholarships to individuals and groups, and produced a number of improvisational shows and events.  In 2012, we will continue to raise awareness about improv in our community and to produce the Denver Improv Festival.

The GroupMind encourages you to continue supporting improv in our community. We had five wonderful years producing the Denver Improv Festival, bringing in various instructors and performance groups from all over the country. The new board will continue to focus on generating funds to bring a improv festival back to Denver and reaching out to work with other local non-profits in 2011.

Our Mission

GroupMind Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to enrich, educate, and entertain our community through the art of improv.

Who Are We?

Created in 2005, GroupMind Foundation is run by a volunteer board of directors. The GroupMind Foundation Board of Directors are made up of experienced improv performers and members of the Denver community. This combination of talents provides a powerful mix of creativity, organization, and business knowledge that energizes the foundation, its goals, and the arts community in Colorado.
